AP Scores + A Mango Smoothie
The following post consists of a series of thoughts and actions from today.
*wakes up at 10:30am* Ahh, a relaxing summer morning. Hi, dog, good morning, yes you are very cute indeed. Please stay there and keep my feet warm. (he got up soon after that)
The next hour or so is spent lying on the couch and staring at the ceiling.
Mom: Arya, it’s basically lunch time, you need to eat something.
Okay, fine, I guess food is kind of important.
*eats healthy lunch because I practically live on fresh produce*
Sister: We have mangoes, can we make a mango smoothie?
Sure, why not? I love mangoes.
*spends a solid fifteen minutes trying to figure out how to properly cut mangoes*
While making aforementioned mango smoothie, cell phone is doing the dance of a century.
Sister: Jeez, who’s even trying to text you?
I have no idea. But the first order of business is blending this fruit.
*blends the fruit*
After settling down with mango smoothie in one hand and a spoon in the other, I finally decide to check my phone.
Oh mY gOd. *almost throws precious smoothie in the air*
Mom (from the other room, very worried at this outburst): What’s wrong?!
I COMPLETELY FORGOT THAT AP SCORES ARE OUT.
I proceeded onto having a proud moment when I saw my photo portfolio score followed by a panicked moment when I saw there’s been a delay on my bio score.
And now I am sitting here writing this blog post in an attempt to pass time until I get that delayed bio score.
Arya’s Mango Smoothie Recipe:
- 2 mangoes, peeled and sliced (or cubed)
- half a banana (or one of those cute little mini bananas, which is what I used)
- 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
- six or seven ice cubes
- OPTIONAL: add some honey for extra sweetness or some cardamom for extra flavor
I’M SPECIAL I MADE YOUR PHONE DANCE. And yes, now that you ask, no I’m not totally sane.
